“ This living history country store and restaurant is the perfect setting for going back in time. Ladies with beautiful personalities make you feel more than welcome and the food is absolutely delicious. I had their chicken alfredo which had huge chunks of chicken and artistically prepared with fresh ingredients and my mom had the roast beef platter that was substantial and full of flavor. The dining room looks over a gorgeous valley which is super vibrant in color during the fall season and just down the street from the Rock House formation on the Cumberland river. The super trifecta is found here. Great food, great view and excellent customer service. Thank you owner and operator Cathy Campbell for the awesome dining experience ! ”
“ What a great fun store to visit. Very unusual variety of products. Excellent ice cream. Didn't eat there but plan on returning. Must see if in the area. ”
“ Cool little local spot that stays true to the community it is in. The store side has a lot of cool and local gifts and candy/ treats. I ordered the Melinda, which is simple but one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. So tasty! Service was great as well. ”
“ Great Cafe that was filled up with folks enjoying sandwiches, salads or plate lunch specials that change every week. They also have a great selection of hand-dipped ice cream. And the candies and sweets to choose from, oh my!! I had the country ham sandwich with mayo and cheese on some of the best homemade bread, with a side salad. The Mrs enjoyed the homemade pimento cheese sandwich with the orange salad! We decided to top off our meal with a fantastic banana split! And I couldn't leave without selecting a few samples of bourbon balls, bourbon eggs and a peanut butter egg that were just amazing!! ”
“ This place saved our trip. We decided to do a weekend trip to the state park based on a tourism magazine, but a lot of things we planned on were false with one being the park to have activities. We found the store online and saw they had kayak and canoe reservations. We filled out the form online and they called us back within a few hours and booked us. The whole experience was perfect. The owners and store are a gem in the community!! You meet at the store and leave your car. You then get dropped off at a launch and picked up 12 miles later at a different launch (which is marked so you can't miss it!) The owners explain everything in detail and provide everything needed. Bring snacks and drinks, sunscreen and bug spray with you! We left at 9am and got back at 3pm with the water moving slow and making quite a few stops! We relaxed, saw lots of wildlife, the natural arch, and swam! When we got back, we got DELICIOUS ice cream and relaxed for a bit inside. The owners told us about stories and places In the community. So much fun! ”
“ The service was super nice. We had nice chats with the staff there, and overall, it was a super friendly place. The food was next level! I got the 6 it has got to be one of, if not, the best ruben I've ever had, my dad shared that thought with his sandwich as well. The shop was super cute and had amazing deals (their hoodies were only 35 usd), the three of us got lunch, a sauce and two magnets, and only spent around 50 something dollars. It's definitely a great place to go to if you are ever in the area! (Also, the view is amazing there) ”
“ What a wonderful place! Enjoyed it very much. The staff was great. Husband just ordered a cheeseburger. He loved it. It was cooked on grill outside. We both had dessert. Cheesecake was awesome. Cozy and quaint atmosphere. Love the scenic area and the history. ”
“ Creelsboro Country Store is close to the Rockhouse Creelsboro Natural Arch. We stopped in and had some ice cream. I had the Toasted Coconut and it was awesome. They have what looks like homemade chocolates and caramels and chocolate covered pretzels. They have crafts, specialty foods like jams, etc. They also have a small restaurant. It was just what you'd expect at a small country gift store. Absolutely charming. ”
